Australia and New Zealand are aiming for a smoke free future by 2025 and recent studies suggest that vaping will accelerate that vision. With the associated health issues and introduction of new taxes on cigarettes, choosing an alternative is as important as ever, however, there are a few key differences between cigarettes and vaping that can make choosing the right vape and nicotine e-liquid a daunting experience.
VAPO has made the process easier with this handy how-to beginner guide all about the different vapes and nicotine e liquids.
In the world of vaping you will come across a range of new terminology, vaping styles, devices and flavours. With so much noise, it's easy to get confused when starting out. Choosing the right vape will make the switch from cigarettes an easy process.
There are a range of differences between starter vapes, and more intermediate vape kits. Intermediate type of vapes have a much larger battery, resulting in higher wattage, better battery life and much, much bigger vape clouds than starter kits.
Advanced vape kits include a fully rebuildable experience, each device can be fine tuned to deliver the exact experience that the user requires, batteries can be changed to increase wattage delivery and the tanks are interchangeable.
There is a range of different styles of advanced vapes from regulated box mods, mechanical mods and squonk mods the depth of information and customisation is vast therefore its advisable that you have an in depth knowledge of vapes before attempting to use one of these devices. You can view our range of advanced vape kits here.
E-liquid, E-juice, vape liquid or whatever terminology you call it, it's referring to the same thing, a combustible liquid that release a vapour when heated. E-liquid can come in a range of different flavours and nicotine levels. The composition of e-liquid is a mixture of water, food grade flavourings, a range of nicotine levels starting from zero, and propylene glycol (PG) or vegetable glycerin (VG).
Choosing what nicotine level to use in your vape really depends on how many cigarettes you were smoking per day. We have made and easy to follow guide below that will give you an idea of where to start based off what your cigarette intake used to be.
Choosing the strength of your nicotine really will depend on your individual needs, heavy smokers normally will choose higher concentrations, whereas casual smokers will choose a lower nicotine level. At VAPO we recommend that you initially choose a few different strengths to find out what will work for you.
